The Ruth Vine Tyler Library has been serving many Midvale residents since 1967. The library is five minutes from downtown Midvale, but it is well worth the trip. Since the remodeling in 2000, the library has been updated to a more modern, spacious appearance that has allowed the edition of new books and computers.
