Forever Plaid: Plaid Tidings is a brand-new show that offers the best of Forever Plaid tied-up in a nifty package with a big Christmas bow on top! Filled with Christmas standards that have all been "Plaid-erized," our boys are back to do their Christmas Special. At first they aren't sure why they've returned, but a phone call from the heavenly Rosemary Clooney lets them know that they're needed to put a little harmony into a discordant world.

Tickets may be purchased in advance online at www.midvalearts.com or at the door.  Tickets are $5 - general admission, $3 - children & seniors, $15 - family pass (one household) groups of 10 or more are $3 each. For more information go to www.midvalearts.com

Joke of the Day:
Last Question
A teacher, a thief and a lawyer all die in the same freak accident. So when they reach the pearly gates, St. Peter tells them that, unfortunately, heaven is overcrowded, so they each have to answer a question correctly for admission.
The teacher is first, and St. Peter asks, “Name the famous ship that was sunk by an iceberg?”
“Phew, that one's easy,” says the teacher, “The Titanic.”
“Alright,” said St.Peter, “you may pass.”
Then the thief got his question: “How many died on the Titanic?”
The thief replied, “That's a toughy, but fortunately I just saw the movie. The answer is 1500 people.” And so he passed through.
Last, St. Peter gave the lawyer his question: “Name them.”

Midvale Museum
We have good news and bad news. First, the bad news. Due to ongoing renovations, the museum will remain closed until Saturday, Dec. 6.

Now for the good news. The museum will have new well-lit rearranged displays. We have lowered all the lighting from the 22-foot high ceiling to a uniform 12-foot height. It is much lighter and brighter. We also have rearranged the display cases and changed the arrangements of the artifacts in those cases. We now have better typed, expanded, and easier to read descriptions of the artifacts.
Please attend our open house on Saturday Dec. 6, from noon to 4 p.m
